Le Phare de Kermorvan
Le Phare de Kermorvan (Kermorvan Lighthouse). Located in the Finistere region of Brittany in Northern France, Kermorvan Lighthouse was built in 1849 on a rocky promontory at the tip of the peninsula and connected to the mainland by a granite bridge. The most westerly lighthouse in France, the three seaward faces of the lighthouse are painted white while the landward face and the stone gallery are unpainted. A little climbing and being very ready to dodge waves (standard seascape practice!) and this composition came to me.
