Le Phare de Kermorvan
Brittany, France
Le Phare de Kermorvan (Kermorvan Lighthouse). Located in the Finistere region of Brittany in Northern France, Kermorvan Lighthouse was built in 1849 on a rocky promontory at the tip of the peninsula and connected to the mainland by a granite bridge. The most westerly lighthouse in France, the three seaward faces of the lighthouse are painted white while the landward face and the stone gallery are unpainted. There is an old Napoleonic Fort on which I was balancing on the edge of for this shot!
